Toni Garrn is one of the industry’s rising stars. Born Antonia Garrn on July 7, 1991, in Hamburg, Germany, she was discovered by German model agency Modelwerk during the FIFA World Cup 2006 in her hometown and then signed with New York agency Women Management.
Debuting at the Calvin Klein Spring 2008 runway show as an international exclusive in New York, Toni went on to appear in Calvin Klein's ad campaign and walked again in the following season exclusively for the designer.
Upon the expiration of her six-month exclusive contract, Toni made her international runway debut at the Spring 2009 fashion weeks, appearing in over 50 runway shows. She walked for designers like Yves Saint Laurent, Versace, Narciso Rodríguez, Louis Vuitton, Alexander Wang, Miu Miu, Stella McCartney, Gianfranco Ferré, Chanel, Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana, Michael Kors, Prada, Fendi, Givenchy, Gucci, Alberta Ferretti, Rag & Bone, Ruffian, Hervé Léger, Proenza Schouler, and Vera Wang just to name a few. The list of designers she's had campaigns with is pretty impressive, too: Hugo Boss, Emporio Armani, Etro, Chloé, Calvin Klein, Calvin Klein Jeans, Prada and others have all had the pleasure of working with this beauty.
She's also been featured on the covers of Russian, Italian, German editions of Vogue; the American and Italian editions of Elle; as well as Numéro. V Magazine ranked her as the eighth model of Spring 2008, and she was FMD's Model of the Month in February 2009.
Even though she attained such a huge success at just 16, Toni claims that her school friends have been very supportive. She says her best friend has always been very proud of her, and she claims no one recognizes her when she goes out, ''At least not in Hamburg.
