Perret Schaad Fashion Designer

Johanna Perret and Tutia Schaad are fashion designer they met at the Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee and gained experience in various design studios such as SWASH, London, GASPARD YURKIEVICH and GIVENCHY Haute-Couture, Paris. After graduating with success in January 2009, they both qualified for international competitions for young talents – amongst others the “Baltic Fashion Award” and “Create Europe” respectively.

With their newly founded label PERRET SCHAAD, the newcomers will show their first collection at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week A/W 2010/11 in Berlin.

PERRET SCHAAD aesthetic reflects contrasting elements of their personality as designers. The fabrics choice is at the same time fine and challenging. The duo uses natural textiles such as silk, cotton, new wool, cashmere and angora from Germany and Italy, along with technical and innovative textiles, sought in specialized firms in Switzerland. They also organized many fashion shows to show there collection of designs.

PERRET SCHAAD's designers are inspired by their backgrounds and everyday life experiences. With great sense of curiosity, they encourage intuitivity and coincidence in their design process. Built with innovative and playful cuts as well as high quality finishing, their designs give the wearer and the observer a feel of nonchalent strength and elegant decadence.

In Mercedes Benz Fashion Week there were also stunnig designers who display there collection on the ramp like Anja Gockel shows collection of Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer, RenaLange shows Autumn/Winter collection, Joop! with Autumn/Winter collection, PatrickMohr and Mongrel In Common with Autumn/Winter collection and so on.
