Nicole Scherzinger rocked a fabulous feather creation last night as she took to the stage in Los Angeles to promote the release of her new single, Wet.

The 33-year-old performer looked sensational in a black and red outfit which included leather hot-pants, a see-through shirt with a bird emblazoned on the front and flaring feathered sleeves.

She paired the ensemble with black studded booties and wore her hair pulled back off her face in a high ponytail.

The brunette beauty hit up the Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood to celebrate the single release and performed to the intimate crowd there.

'2day's the day! Come watch me perform at the Hard Rock Cafe-Hollywood&Highland + @1027KIISFM 4FREE! C u there!' the star wrote on her Twitter in the morning.

The performance coincided with the release of the video for the new single.

In the racy new clip Nicole strips off to a nude coloured outfit and appears as if in the shower.

Clutching a net round her body, she looked sensational in her taupe two piece as she stared wistfully off into the distance.

Of course - and unfortunately for her male admirers - Nicole wasn't actually taking a shower at all but teased her fans by standing behind a wall of water.

In a different kind of shower scene, Nicole then appears with a troupe of back-up dancers in what appears to be a dark and dingy gym shower room.

Dressed all in black leather - corset top, high-waisted shorts and thigh-high boots - the singer grinds and gyrates through a strenuous looking dance routine, which is shown voyeristically through security cameras.

Sure to get any man's pulse racing, the song is the fourth off her new album.

It is the follow-up to Right There and both have been taken from her début solo record Killer Love.

Nicole was initially announced at one of two co-hosts of the show alongside Britain's Steve Jones but she ended up replacing Cheryl Cole on the judging panel alongside Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid.

They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

And for Nicole Scherzinger she knew how to party in Sin City for her birthday with not one - but two parties.

The X Factor judge enjoyed a daytime event and then partied the night away at TAO Nightclub at the Venetian hotel.


Nicole, who turns 33 next week, looked stunning in a glittering mini dress which she paired with taupe shoes and bag.

She had her long raven hair in soft curls which cascaded over her shoulders.

The former Pussycat Doll was presented with an an amazing five-tiered cake decorated in gold and pink with her name in glittering letters perched on the side.

The cake was covered in musical symbols, a microphone and the second tier even featured a corset.

The celebrations comes ahead of her actual birthday which is on June 29.

Nicole has hit back at her former manager Jeff Haddad who told British tabloid Now magazine that X Factor bosses had secretly plotted to have her as a judge all along.

But Nicole told Houston-based syndicated radio show Kidd Kraddick in the Morning that it is not true.

'That's such gossip, man. I was very hurt by that because it was my ex-manager who said that. It just

unfortunately goes to show how much he doesn't know, because the people at Fremantle and all the powers that be have no idea who he is because wasn't involved. It was a hard process for me and I'm sure for Cheryl.'

'I started out as a co-host, and I loved the job. I got to meet families and all the contestants and a lot of spend time with them.

'Steve Jones, I was co-hosting with him. The way everything just worked out, they offered me the job [of judge], and I was just ecstatic, and I was so grateful to be a part of it in that way, because then I felt like I could really have a voice.

'It was at home for me, because I feel like I could better serve as a mentor and everything,' she added.

'It’s weird when people think they can toy and they know what’s go on. I don't think Fremantle and all these people would go through all that money to have to deal with something like that.

I don’t like to read the press because I’m really sensitive when it comes to stuff like that. I always put good energy, good vibes out there.

'Cheryl’s a lovely girl, and she’s going to make the best decisions for her. She’s going to be great.

'For me, I don’t care about the press because I’m going to focus on my work and let my heart and what I do best speak for itself. In the end, all the other stuff is just rubbish, and it will go away.'

She is certainly making headlines around the globe after landing the coveted X Factor judging role replacing Cheryl Cole.

So it seems fitting that Nicole Scherzinger would want to wear a statement style of the moment and so she stepped out in an on-trend 70’s ensemble earlier today.

The former Pussycat Dolly donned a wide-brimmed black hat, a mesh strapless top and a pair of high-waisted flared jeans over platform shoes at a radio station in Paris earlier today.


And the retro look certainly hit the mark with the ensemble emphasising her slim waist and enviable curves.

Nicole has been enjoying her time in Paris this week after spending the weekend supporting boyfriend Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton in the Monaco Grand Prix.
