He is set to officially join the Kardashian clan.

And now basketball star Kris Humphries is proving he is just as comfortable in front of the camera as his reality TV star fiancée.

The 26-year-old New Jersey Nets star, who proposed to Kim last week following a six month whirlwind romance, has stripped off for a racy new editorial spread for men's magazine GQ.

In the sexy new shots Kris models men's swimwear including a tight-fitting pair of shorts as well as a contrasting bright blue pair.

The shirtless star shows off his toned and taut physique - expected of a world class athlete.

Kris, who is 6 foot 9 inches tall, towers over his wife-to-be at only five-foot-two.
Despite their massive height difference, the couple have a couple of interesting things in common.

Kris, who shares the same name as Kim's mother, also has two sisters who hilariously both have names beginning with the letter K - Krystal and Kaela.

The NBA star got down on bended knee last Wednesday at Kim's Beverly Hills home with a $2 million diamond and platinum engagement ring.

The custom made 20.5 carat Lorraine Schwartz sparkler was presented to Kim as Kris knelt next to a message written in rose petals which read 'Will You Marry Me?'

Kim was reportedly taken by surprise by the proposal however her mother and step-father were not.

Kris had previously approached the star's parents several days beforehand to ask their permission.

'He came to Bruce and myself and asked us for Kim's hand in marriage,' says Kris Jenner to People Magazine, 'and it was really just so cute the way that he wanted to surprise her.'

Kim's been talking to Lorraine schwartz about it a lot lately."

And Kim Kardashian tells Life & Styles that she's fantasized about her wedding ever since when she was a little girl. "I've envisioned the whole thing," Kim Kardashian tells Life & Styles. "I can't wait to get married. I' found my wedding dress !!!! I mean, I already know what my gown is going to look like. I've thought about it all for so long. What woman hasn't thought about her wedding since she was a little girl?" Kim  kardashian plans to take a Trip to Paris to Shop for a Chanel couture wedding gown, the friend reveals to Life & Styles. Her dream dress? "She wants a white strapless floor-length beautiful gown that's traditional but sexy and makes her feel like a princess," says the pal.

Kris and Kim Kardashian -- who both come from families in which the kids' names all begin with the letter K -- have already discussed what they're name going to their children. "I think I'll name my kids with K's to keep the tradition going," Kim kardashian says that. She even has a favorite name picked out for a baby boy, the friend reveals: Kristopher Jr., named after the man she plans to marry. "I want a big family," Kim  Kardashian told Life & Style at the Unbreakable event. "3 to 5 kids!"
