Piaget Limelight Cocktail Rings

Piaget has delighted women of fashion with its new collection of Limelight cocktail rings, fully conforming to the trend on large, original jewelry of this fall and winter. The new items from Piaget have custom design: cocktail rings from a new collection and look like very real cocktails in miniature. For example, the ring that got its name in honor of the popular Mojito cocktail is decorated with tiny leaves of mint, in fact made of emeralds. The “drink” itself is a 24-carat green tourmaline together with a 3-carat citrine reminiscent of lime.

In the new Piaget collection, cocktail lovers will find all familiar names such as the legendary “Cosmopolitan” and daiquirí, and even whiskey with ice.

Engagement Rings

Choosing an engagement ring can be a difficult task, with the availability of so many different varieties and styles. The trend this year for engagement rings is running towards lots of bling and glitter. The sparkle that a row of diamonds emanates is what women are all about nowadays.

When choosing an engagement ring it is very important to keep the four C’s in mind; Color, cut, clarity and carat. These C’s determine the quality of the diamond. The cut is a very essential C in the beauty of the ring. A perfect cut will bring out the brilliance of the diamond.

Women currently are also turning away from the solitaire and towards the three and five stone engagements rings. Another style that is becoming popular is the semi-bezel engagement ring. They look really stylish and are good for active lifestyles. The diamond is put in either halfway or fully into the band, so it does not get in the way. The traditional engagement rings have diamonds which are raised above the band with prongs, and can be annoying for some people.

Black and white setting is gaining popularity as well. Black and white diamonds together look classic and elegant together.

An inscription can also be engraved on the inside of an engagement ring for a more personal and romantic touch.
