Tony Dimitri Fashion Designer

We are a Portland based men’s clothing company that has been in business for 2 years now. Years ago we had a vision of what we think fashion should be so we created our first cut and sew line. Selling out of that product was no problem; we made great connections with many local storeowners and buyers that made the transition to our screen-printing line that much easier. From our clean fashion forward cut and sew line to our controversial edgy screen-printing line we do it all. With our slim cuts, color selections and strategic graphic designs we can create the perfect male form. Our first screen-printing line was called Dirty D a visually provocative line with plunging necklines that made heads turn. Dirty D was a line of 600 units that sold out of our 4 local stores in just 8 weeks. The reason Dirty D sold so well is because all of our lines have a story behind them. Our shirts aren’t just shirts with a design they are shirts with stories and real messages. Our most popular shirt was our marionette girl basically showing the different ways this girl let her significant other control her.

With the success of Dirty D it really opened our eyes to the fact that shirts with stories sell dramatically better, which gave birth to our new line and branch Killing Beverly. Killing Beverly we feel is our million-dollar baby. We have so much passion and messaging behind this line we finally feel its time to introduce you to our product. Killing Beverly has two different meanings destroying Beverly Hills, which is the epitome of what we Portlanders hate. We are killing off the materialistic, over the top fakeness of LA, Hollywood, and Beverly Hills. With killer chiwawas coming out of purses to an Indy rocker punk kid chain-sawing down the Rodeo Drive street sign. We are destroying these cities and everything in our way.

The second meaning of Killing Beverly is about a woman of LA, Hollywood or Beverly Hills. The woman that we loved before she became all ‘Hollywood’on us. With shirts that have an actual letter our designer wrote to his ex girlfriend, the ex girlfriend that moved to LA to be a super model, but instead became a super drugged out bitch. So as you can see shirts with designs just don’t cut it for us, we put passion and life stories behind our products. So as the old saying goes “you are what you wear,” doesn’t be a design; be a story.Fashion label Dimitri has also showcased elegant designs in Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Berlin.
