Nelli Millard and Dru Broekemeier are the fashion designer whose creative force behind NelliDru Design …East and West.

Nelli Millard grew up in Russia where she began her fashion design career as a dress model in her mother’s design studio. There she gained an intrinsic understanding of what goes into the design of a quality garment. She later enhanced her interest in fashion design by attending college with a focus on the technology of customizing clothes. This career direction launched her into her own design business and ultimately to a similar, and very prosperous business, in the United States.The both organized many fashion weeks as well as many fashion shows to advertise there designs in fron of all.

Dru Broekemeier’s fashion interest started with a fascination and appreciation for the wonderfully stylish dresses and accessories in her mother’s closet. In grade school she learned to make simple clothes. The spark was ignited. Years later, while studying at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles and working for a clothing manufacturer she met a mentor (now her husband) who financed her business. Together they produced the “Ashley Sinclaire” dress line which was sold nationwide to specialty boutiques and major department stores.
