Gucci Fashion Designer


Fashion label Gucci was established as a leather merchandise company in 1921 by Guccio Gucci. Initially, Guccio Gucci started working with little leather related stuff in his native Florance. Guccio Gucci Designer had absorbed the sharpen visualization of English aristocracy, and instigate this awareness in Italy through his exclusively created leather goods. Fashion house Gucci is now famous as Florentine fashion and leather goods label and is owned by French company Pinault-Printemps-Redoute (PPR).

In 1938, Fashion label Gucci expanded and a boutique was launched in Rome. In 1947, Gucci introduced the bamboo handle handbag, which is still a company one of the basic products. Later on, 1950s, Gucci launched the trademark striped webbing, which was derived from the saddle girth, and the suede moccasin with a metal horsebit. Guccio Gucci Designer spent some working years in London's Savoy Hotel too. After the death of Guccio Gucci in 1953, one of his sons Aldo worked very hard in maintaining the standards of the Company. Due to his hard work, Fashion label Gucci opened its first store in New York. Within few years, after facing many ups and down, Gucci expanded overseas. Gucci approached the Far East in the late 1960s, for advance development, and opened stores in Hong Kong and Tokyo. The company display its collection of 09 for men as Gucci - Men's Fall/Winter 09-10. At the same time, the company launched its famous GG logo, which is Guccio Gucci’s initial. Guccio Gucci Fashion Label produced the leather items by the expert craftsmanship of Tuscan artisans. It display its collection for men as Gucci- Men's Spring/Summer 09 Collection.

In 2008, Gucci generated approximately €2.2 billion revenue, globally; according to Business Week magazine. Gucci also climbed to 41st position in the magazine's annual 2009 "Top Global 100 Brands" chart developed by Inter brand. Gucci is now ranked as the biggest-selling Italian brand in the world. According to the 2009 research, Gucci operates about 278 directly operated stores internationally; and wholesales its products through franchisees and upscale department stores. Gucci display its collection for Fall as Gucci - Women's Fall/Winter 09-10 Collection.
