Christian Siriano Fashion Designer


22 years old Fashion designer Christian Siriano, was a born designer. He became a talented Fashion designer in such small age because he was raised in a creative family in Annapolis, Maryland; Fashion designer Christian Siriano was first commenced to the arts by means of his sister's attraction in dance. Fashion designer Christian Siriano also performed with The Ballet Theater of Maryland himself. In this way dramatic costumes became his passion and he started designing costumes. Fashion designer Christian Siriano was just 13 years old when he started designing professionally; he was working at a trendy Annapolis hair salon, named Bubbles. The salon got first prize for two years at an annual hair competition, because of the sophisticated costumes Fashion designer Christian Siriano designed and created. Furthermore Fashion designer Christian Siriano wanted to boost more confidence in his work, as he wanted to pursue it as a career in Fashion designing. Fashion designer Christian Siriano went on at the Baltimore School for the Arts to study fashion designing and did graduation, at the American Intercontinental University in London.

Fashion designer Christian Siriano presented his first Fashion assortment during London's 2005 fall fashion week, just after months arriving in Europe. In the light of ambition, Fashion designer Christian Siriano did an internship with punk legend Vivienne Westwood and, prized a position with Alexander McQueen during his senior year.

After graduation, Fashion designer Christian Siriano returned to the United States and moved to New York City. Fashion designer Christian Siriano then worked as a freelance bridal designer and worked together with Rosetta Getty on her Riser Goodwyn label. The big break came when Fashion designer Christian Siriano received recognition on season four of Bravo's hit program Project Runway. Despite fierce competition, Fashion designer Christian Siriano also secured his fame as the youngest ever winner of the show, fan favorite, and a growing star in the world of fashion designing.

Since winning, Fashion designer Christian Siriano started designing outfits for many celebrities, including style icons Victoria Beckham, Heidi Klum, Anne Hathaway, and legend Whoopi Goldberg, Fashion designer Christian Siriano produced a collection for her to wear as host of the 2008 Tony Awards.

Fashion designer Christian Siriano designed the dress for Kimberly Locke wore, to debut her fresh single on season seven of American Idol. Fashion designer Christian Siriano designed outfits for Becki Newton and Vanessa Williams to carry on Ugly Betty, and designed several outfits for singer Estelle's album release, as part of a special design project with Puma. Fashion designer Christian Siriano also made a cameo entrance in the music video for Estelle's single "No Substitute Love."
Fashion designer Christian Siriano has appeared on daytime and late night talk shows; along with his guest starring role on hit television series Ugly Betty and Bravo's Make Me A Supermodel. Fashion designer Christian Siriano was a red carpet correspondent of Style & Fashion for the 2008 Emmy Awards, 2008 MTV Movie Awards, also the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, a guest judge for the 2008 Miss USA Pageant, and recipient of a 2008 Logo New Now Next Award and a Bravo A-List Award.

Fashion designer Christian Siriano is designing another full couture fashion assortment to appear in the upcoming film Eloise in Paris, starring Uma Thurman, slated to film in 2009. Interestingly Fashion designer Christian Siriano has a book coming out in 2009 with Hachette Book Group and freshly sold out of an exclusive line for Bluefly.com.

Fashion designer Christian Siriano showed his spring 2009 collection in September 2008, at New York Fashion Week in sponsorship with LG, Sprint, Victoria's Secret Beauty, and Cibu International. In attendance at the packed show were Heidi Klum, Tim Gunn, Nina Garcia, Becki Newton, 30 Rock's Katrina Bowden, Gossip Girl's Amanda Setton, Leigh Lezark, and many well-reputed designers from many seasons of Project Runway.
