Bottega Veneta Fashion Designers

Fashion brand Bottega Veneta is a Vicenza base company, established by Michele Taddei and Renzo Zengiaro in 1966, in the Veneto region of northeast Italy. Fashion brand Bottega is the maker of lavish leather products, particularly famous for its Intrecciato line of woven leather.

Fashion brand Bottega Veneta faced decline during the 1990s, so the Moltedos hired British designer Giles Deacon to re-establish the suffering house. Due to the dedication of Deacon, Fashion brand Bottega Veneta launched a flourishing line of Ready-To-Wear clothing. Later on, Tom Ford convinced Gucci Group to purchase Bottega Veneta. In 2001, Fashion brand Bottega Veneta was bought by Gucci. Ford shifter Deacon to Gucci women’s wear. On the other side, German-born designer Tomas Maier took the charge of Bottega Veneta. After some time, Fashion brand Bottega Veneta claimed its top status in the making of leather goods, but with the support of Gucci.

Fashion brand Bottega Veneta has earned good name in manufacturing hand-woven leather goods, like bags, belts, and shoes etc; all produced from Italy. There is also a small subtle metalwork logo on every product, especially on the bags of Fashion brand Bottega Veneta. Simple yet elegant style of Maier's illustrations for Fashion brand Bottega Veneta Ready-To-Wear is more remarkable and classical as compared to the Deacon's "high-octane, ultra-sexy" look.

The recently launched light-toned neutrals and pastel Spring/Summer collection of Fashion brand Bottega Veneta were consist of black, neutrals and faded colors, like reds and yellows for Autumn/Winter 2007–08. Presently, Fashion brand Bottega Veneta has boutiques in Italy, Spain, France, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Germany, Greece, Turkey, Guam, Denmark, Russia, Sweden, Lithuania, Ukraine, The Czech Republic, Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, India, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Kuwait, Malaysia, and Saudi Arabia.
