Fashion designer Alberta Ferretti was born in 1950 in Cattolica, Italy. Her mother was also a successful Fashion designer of outfits, with 18 seamstresses helping her to supply tourists of the 50's and 60's. So Fashion designer Alberta Ferretti adopted the same guts from her mother and the inherited talent gives her place among the Top Fashion designers.
In 1968, when she was only 18 years old, Fashion designer Alberta Ferretti started her own designer clothes shop. This shop was in Rimini and Fashion designer Alberta Ferretti loved to call it ‘The Jolly Shop’. Fashion designer Alberta Ferretti filled the shop with clothes from Armani, Krizia and Versace. In this she worked a lot in making her well-renowned position among Top Fashion designers, and launched her own label in 1974. Interestingly the brother of Fashion designer Alberta Ferretti also inherited almost the same genes from her mother, and in 1980 her brother Massimo started the manufacturing facility Aeffe. Then both Fashion designer Alberta Ferretti and her brother worked a lot in creating the new philosophy of Fashion lines.
Fashion designer Alberta Ferretti also owns the Montegridolfo resort; as she helped to restore it to some extent. This shows that she worked in many places, as the showroom of Fashion designer Alberta Ferretti is in Milan and her huge studio is in the Aeffe building, which is on the outskirts of Cattolica. On the other hand, her home town is on Italy's Adriatic coast. She lives in an ancient castle dating back to the middle Ages, the Castello di Montegridolfo.
Fashion designer Alberta Ferretti works/designs for a number of Fashion designers like Jean Paul Gaultier, Rifat Ozbek, Narciso Rodriguez and Moschino. Besides them in 2000, Fashion designer Alberta Ferretti brought out her own Tech collection.
