Star Light,Star Bright:Hot Topics
Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton
Paris Hilton and her sister Nicky were just two of the celeb attendees at Josh Duhamel's Youth Run for Japan to benefit survivors of the earthquake and tsunami in Santa Monica, California, on Sunday. The more than 4,000 runners reportedly raised more than $150,000. "Such a great day today. I love helping make a difference," tweeted Paris after her run.
Kim Kardashian, Couples
Is NBA star Kris Humphries putting a ring on it? It seemed like love was definitely in the air last weekend when Kim Kardashian tweeted, "I am so happy my future husband just surprised me!" though she quickly followed up with another tweet -- "Hump was playing on my phone. I will get him back!" -- blaming Humphries for the post. Do you find it cute or icky that Kim's nickname for her new beau is "Hump"?
Liv Tyler, Jimmy Fallon
Liv Tyler dropped by "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" Tuesday night to promote her new movie, "Super." The hilarity began when Jimmy and Liv revealed a clip from their "past" as singing duo Pleather and Lace on "Star Search." Liv looked pretty cute, but unfortunately the actress didn't inherit her dad Steven's singing voice!
Snooki, Dwayne Johnson
Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi hit up the WrestleMania XXVII press conference in New York City Wednesday with towering ex-wrestlers Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and John Cena. The "Jersey Shore" star also made headlines this week when it was revealed she was paid $32,000 to speak at Rutgers University in New Jersey on Thursday. The reality starlet's topics of conversation? Her hair pouf, her "career," and her "GTL" (Gym, Tan, Laundry) lifestyle. Snooki's golden advice to students: "Study hard, but party harder."
Russell Brand, Helen Mirren
Dame Helen Mirren got a big smooch from her "Arthur" co-star Russell Brand when she was honored at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Monday with a hand and footprint ceremony. Said Mirren at the ceremony: "There have been three real moments of real triumph in my life. The first was being made a Dame of the British Empire, of which I’m enormously proud, the second was winning an Oscar, and the third is having my hands and feet in front of Grauman's Chinese," adding, "Yes, I am a Dame of the British Empire, but now I’m very proud to say that I’m one of the many Dames on the Hollywood Boulevard."
Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz
Drew Barrymore was on hand to present her "Charlie's Angels" BFF Cameron Diaz with the Female Star of the Year award during CinemaCon at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas Wednesday. While accepting her trophy, Diaz accidentally let her nickname for Barrymore slip when she took the mic saying, "Thanks, poo-poo." Too funny.
Tom Cruise, Kids
Also enjoying some father/son bonding time at the Staples Center? Tom Cruise and his 16-year-old son Connor, (mom is Cruise's second wife, Nicole Kidman) who caught Sunday's game where the Lakers took on the New Orleans Hornets. The Lakers emerged victorious once again, beating the Hornets 102 - 84.
David Beckham, Kids
Having a good time at a Los Angeles Lakers game Thursday were David Beckham and his 8-year-old son Romeo, who saw the home team defeat the Dallas Mavericks 110-82. When making an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" that night, David revealed that Romeo wants to call his baby sister, who is due this summer, "Justine Bieber Beckham."
Star Bright,Start Light:Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz receive a star
Showing off her svelte post-baby bod, Penelope Cruz was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Friday in Los Angeles. Her "Pirates of the Caribbean" co-star, Johnny Depp, was on hand to help Cruz celebrate, as was her hubby, Javier Bardem.
