Second Celebrity Booted From The 'Dancing' Ballroom

Sometimes a story is better left untold... at least via the medium of dance.
While she's known for talking up a storm on her successful syndicated series, "The Wendy Williams Show," Wendy's attempt to share her youthful struggle as a just-starting radio DJ through the medium of the foxtrot on Monday's "Dancing with the Stars" proved to be a flop. On Tuesday, Wendy was given the boot from the ballroom.
Wendy's elimination, which takes her professional partner, Tony Dovolani, out of the competition too, is the second of the season.
Like last week's celebrity cast off -- "Loveline" radio host Mike Catherwood -- Wendy's elimination was not really a surprise for the viewers, or for the host herself.
She did, however, reveal one of the reasons why her moves might not have been as crisp as others - she was regularly flying back and forth to New York to tape her talk show, which films five days a week.
"I'm probably the busiest person in terms of flying back and forth," Wendy said as she learned the news. "In addition to that, I have a marriage, a child and a litany of other things to hold together."
Wendy may not have learned all the moves during her stay in the competition, but said it was, "a wonderful opportunity."
She also thanked Tony for helping her get to the third week of competition, and teaching her a host of new moves.
"Despite stereotypes, this is one black girl who can't even do the running man," she laughed.
Before Wendy's elimination was announced, professional wrestler Chris Jericho and dancing pro Cheryl Burke, were also placed in the bottom two.
Beyond the night's big news of Wendy's elimination, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who suffered a leg cramp on Monday night (causing him to drop partner Kirstie Alley), said he has recovered just fine.
"[There's] been an overwhelming amount of support," Maks said of the reaction since he suffered a muscle strain during his rumba with Kirstie. "I'm fine. You're gonna need a stretcher to get me out of here."
