Cheryl Cole to judge US X Factor

Cheryl Cole will be judging the US version of ‘The X Factor’

According to L. A. Reid, the British pop singer, who is already a judge on the UK version of the talent search show, will join Simon Cowell and an unknown third person on the panel when the US version launches in September.

It has been reported that Simon has pushed TV bosses at network Fox, who are making the series, to sign up Cheryl even though she has a relatively low profile stateside.

"Even though she is still relatively unknown, Simon told Fox TV executives that Cheryl will prove an instant success with viewers when the series begins."

Talking about the US X Factor, the ‘Promise this’ singer said, "Simon should give me a buzz. I love 'X Factor' and to be a judge would be great. Seeking out for new talent? I have an ear for it."
