Giles Deacon crowns Palladium Jewelry Winner

Renowned fashion designer Giles Deacon led a judging panel to declare the winner of the Central Saint Martins Palladium Jewelry competition last night.

Deacon was joined on the panel by London Jewelry star Hannah Martin and after looking at the extraordinary works of five designers, He crowned Leigh Cameron as the overall winner of the glamorous ceremony at London's Institute of Contemporary Arts.

The enchanting winning ring was made from rare and precious metal palladium and it was inspired by large architectural shapes.

The talented Leigh Cameron said, "It has been an amazing experience, I never thought that I would win and as I am studying furniture, designing jewelry is a whole new experience for me.”
She added, “Working with Palladium has been fantastic and I look forward to working with it again in the future."

Giles said he was hugely impressed with the competition, which was a collaboration between Palladium Alliance International and Masters Design students specializing Jewelry Ceramics and Furniture at the prestigious Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design, and the work everyone produced.
