Las Vegas is Sin City, and it is not easily vanquished, or so you would think...until seventeen of the hottest swimsuite models on the planet descend upon it, as happened on February 16.
The models gathered at nightclub LAX to celebrate the launch of 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition . Fortunately for the heart health of the city, they were not clad in bikinis, as they were when they posed for the Swimsuit issue.
The models arrived in sin city AM hours for a two day celebration after their New York bash Tuesday, February 15, hosted by Pranna restaurant.
Russian beauty Irina Shayk is the lucky cover girl on the 2011 special edition.
Brooklyn Decker, a former SI cover girl, took a break from promoting her debut film, Just Go With It, to party with fellow beauties in Vegas.
Vegas officials are serious when it comes to non serious pursuits. In the spirit of the city - equally at ease letting you go bust or letting you see bust - City Mayor Oscar Goodman attended an event Thursday morning, February 17, to honor the 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue models.
At the event he renamed Rue de Monte Carlo, an access street to the Monte Carlo, as Swimsuit Boulevard, but only for a day!
