Carolina Herrera has been named by Mercedes-Benz as ‘Mercedes-Benz Presents’ designer for Lincoln Center’s first ever Fashion Week, which will show collections for Spring/summer 2011.
Carolina Herrera, who is known for her elegant gowns and her white collared shirts that she frequently wears with her smoothed black blond tresses, is responsible for famous for producing signature fashion collection, bridal collection , lifestyle collection called CH Carolina Herrera and 10 fragrances.
This award is dedicated to designers that excel in making unique styles and innovative designs. Past winners include Monique Lhuillier, Badgley Mischka, Narciso Rodriguez and CHADO Ralph Rucci.
Carolina Herrera expressed her excitement in a press statement, “To be recognized in such an important year in Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week history, is, without question, a wonderful honor”
