Rihanna may have woken up this morning thinking she'll have to sing a Redemption Song after her behaviour last night.

The Umbrella singer showed no signs of slowing down as she continued her hard partying back in her native Barbados, drinking the country's beer during a night paddle in the Caribbean waters.

Rihanna crusied around the island on a yacht with family and friends before setting anchor to have a few drinks on the sand dunes as the sun went down.

The group then moved into the sea, drinking Banks Beer and playing with colourful floatation devices.

Rihanna paid homage to fellow Caribbean crooner Bob Marley by wearing a full-piece orange swimsuit with a picture of his face on it.

The 23-year-old has made no secret that she was a fan of the dread-locked Rastafarian, even building a shrine to him in her new Los Angeles mansion with memorabilia, incense, gun-shaped chandeliers and a giant painting of the star.

She explained last year: 'The Bob Marley room is my loungey room, so there's incense burning, there's a painting on the wall of Bob Marley in black and white, which I love.

'The rest of the room goes from green into yellow into red, like the Jamaican flag.

"There's a little coffee table and these seats that are like big pillows on the floor, so it's not formal at all.

'There are lots of Bob Marley books, lyric books. He's one of my favourite artists of all time - he really paved the way for every other artist out of the Caribbean.'

Rihanna's latest single Man Down, has also been compared to Bob Marley's music.

It was written by Tock City, made up by R&B duo, brothers Timothy and Theron Thomas, from the US Virgin Islands.

The controversial video shows Rihanna shooting her rapist dead.

Rock City told MTV they wanted to show a city like Kingston, Jamaica where gun and gangs marred the beautiful landscape.

Timothy said: 'When we wrote the song, me and my brother was trying to re-create in the best way possible, you know, like Bob Marley, I Shot the Sherriff,

'The female version of what that would be.'

Rihanna also covered Bob Marley's Redemption Song to raise money for the victims of the Haiti earthquake last year.

Earlier yesterday, the star was seen partying on the yacht, clutching a drink in her hand.

She hopped aboard wearing a black shawl over her swimsuit, matched with pink-rimmed sunglasses, gold bangles, a gold anklet and green floral sandals.

Rihanna had a ride on a jet-ski with a male friend before having a go by herself.

She appeared to be loving being back in her homeland as she hugged, jokes and laughed with various children.

Her ex-boyfriend Negus Sealy, who Rihanna has been spotted with on at least two other occasions during her trip was also spotted on the boat, fueling speculation the couple are back together.

The singer is back on the island for the Barbados leg of her Loud tour.

Yesterday's bit of relation came after she treated her fans to a raunchy concert performance in which she pulled an older man on stage and jumped on top of him to give him a lap dance.

She has been seen around the island in a number of risque outfits.

And it was revealed today she has splashing out an incredible £14,000 a week on one of Hollywood’s leading hair stylists.

Ursula Stephen, who charges £2,000 a day, to help ensure she looks her best.

‘Rihanna likes to pioneer new styles but it’s costing her a fortune,’ said one of her entourage.

‘She makes several public appearances a week, and the cost soon stacks up.

‘Ursula is a close confidante and they are together all the time.

‘You have to wonder why she insists on keeping such an expensive member of her entourage on the payroll 24/7. Most of these costs are paid for by her management.’

Rihanna has changed her hairstyle 13 times since it was dyed bright red last November.
